Workshops

Thank you for your interest in wanting to have a Musical Yoga Adventures Workshop! I present workshops to school students, their teachers (who want to introduce the benefits of yoga and music to their students), and to children and their families. I also present convention workshops to people in the music education field, occupational and physical therapists, and professionals who work with special needs students.

I visit about 6 to 8 locations per year, sharing the Musical Yoga Adventures program, as well as information on how teachers and students can create yoga routines to favorite and/or popular music. I try to make doing yoga with the combination of music a fun experience (not a difficult task!), by introducing props, books and music that work well with yoga, giving tips on how to enhance the yoga experience, and implementing ways for everyone to make the yoga journey an exciting one, every single day!

At the beginning of the workshop, we usually begin in a large circle, seated on the floor, and at the end, everyone is invited to lie down on their yoga mats, and experience relaxation with guided imagery. Participants leave with a feeling of unity, calm, and a renewal of energy.

I would love to visit you, and work with students, teachers and parents. I need about 2 months notice to schedule a workshop, so please use the ‘Contact Us’ page to plan a visit soon!
