Musical Yoga Adventures combines the abundant benefits of music and yoga.
Over five years ago Linda Lara, composer/music teacher and children’s yoga instructor, and Suzy Frank, occupational therapist and children’s yoga instructor, developed a program that is designed to take you and your child or student on a journey that will nourish body, mind and spirit. The words and rhythms are specifically designed to enhance your ability to learn and remember the yoga poses and sequences.

The yoga songs provide ways to re-energize, focus, relax and release extra energy and stress. They will help you and your child/student become stronger, more flexible, coordinated, balanced, and confident.

The songs remind us how we are all connected to nature, animals, and each other. Incorporated into the songs are musical and nature sounds, which add a special magic that allows imagination and creativity to flow.


This CD can be used at home, in school, in music classes, and in settings where development and physical conditioning are addressed. It allows everyone involved the chance to learn and practice a healthy lifestyle. It has been our hope that you enjoy your journey, and continue to discover all the possibilities along the way.

The ‘Namaste Song’ has been popular with teachers here in the US and internationally! It is a great song to sing for an assembly or choral concert. In addition, there is sign language that can be easily incorporated to go along with the song, and make it a great learning and performing experience.
